Complex Litigation and Appellate Practice
The firm enjoys a wealth of experience in the complex litigation and appellate arenas. The attorneys of Webster, Henry, Lyons, White, Bradwell & Black have coordinated the defense of numerous multi-party cases, class actions, multi-forum litigation, and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court. In addition, they have directed appeals in more than 50 cases since 1995. The firm handles not only simple appeals, but all aspects of appellate practice, including mandamus and certiorari petitions, amicus briefs, rehearing applications and oral arguments. Firm members are often sought to handle the appellate aspects of cases that were litigated at the trial level by attorneys at other firms. The partners are licensed to practice before all of Alabama’s state and federal courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
