Webster, Henry, Lyons, White, Bradwell & Black, P.C., rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, was established as Webster & Henry, P.C., on January 1, 2001, by its original shareholders, William H. Webster and D. Mitchell Henry.  Over the next three years, the firm added as additional shareholders T. Randall Lyons and Michael L. White.  When they were joined in 2010 by shareholders John R. Bradwell, Robert C. Black, Jr., Michael J. Cohan, and Scott M. Speagle, the firm took on its present name.  Since then, Kimberly S. DeShazo has become a shareholder, and Frank E. “Chip” Bankston, Jr., has joined the firm of counsel.  The firm currently maintains offices in Montgomery, Birmingham, Mobile and Auburn, Alabama, within easy reach of any location in Alabama and ready accessibility to the entire Southeast.


Together, the nine shareholders bring with them more than one hundred thirty years of legal experience in the public and private sectors. Our attorneys have tried hundreds of cases to juries, in both state and Federal courts.  The addition of J. Bradley Ponder in January 2007, Thomas M. McCarthy in July 2008, William T. Ashley, III, in September 2008, and Kayla W. Frisby in April 2011, provides further dimension to the firm's strengths and experience.

Webster, Henry, Lyons, White, Bradwell & Black continues its members' previous practice in civil litigation, concentrating on the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage questions, appellate practice, worker's compensation, municipal liability, construction law, products liability defense, employment law and agricultural law.
