Tom McCarthy graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2001. Mr. McCarthy earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2004. Following law school, Mr. McCarthy practiced with the Frederick County State's Attorney's Office in Frederick, Maryland. During this time, Mr. McCarthy was also employed as a litigation associate with the firm of Offutt, Horman & Burdette, P.A. In 2006, Mr. McCarthy returned to Alabama and joined the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office as a Circuit Court prosecutor. Mr. McCarthy practiced at the District Attorney's Office until he was hired at Webster, Henry, Lyons & White in July of 2008. He lives in Montgomery with his wife, Megan.
