T. Randall Lyons graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1987 and from the Cumberland School of Law in 1990. While at Cumberland, he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board. In 1990, Mr. Lyons entered the private practice of law, where he developed his skills in civil litigation and trial practice with an emphasis on corporate and insurance defense. Mr. Lyons has successfully tried numerous civil cases for defendants throughout the State of Alabama. He is the former Vice President of the Young Lawyers' section of the Alabama Defense Lawyers' Association. Mr. Lyons joined the firm in November 2001, having previously been a member of the Montgomery, Alabama, firm of Nix Holtsford Gilliland Lyons & Higgins, P.C. In March 2003, Mr. Lyons established the firm's East Alabama Office. Mr. Lyons is admitted to practice in both Alabama and Georgia. During his years of experience as an attorney, he has conducted continuing education seminars for numerous organizations and has spoken to groups regarding municipal liability as well as construction law. Mr. Lyons now lives in Auburn with his wife, Fran, and their three children, Sarah Margaret, Joseph and Catherine.
